I'm Beau Daniel James Byrd, and I moved to the Black Hills in 2017 after retiring from the US Army. As a disabled veteran, I found solace and purpose in the dramatic landscapes and wildlife of South Dakota.
Photography has become my way of capturing what I call "The Lord's Artwork" - the ever-changing beauty of His creation that no human could replicate. I've spent countless hours sitting in one place, watching shadows transform the landscape, listening to birds and wind, witnessing God's goodness in every frame.
To serve my community by providing free photography services to families who cannot afford professional photos. Everyone deserves to have their precious moments captured beautifully.
